Brett Williams

After completing his MBA, Brett started his career in 1997 with Univest Financial Services. There, he supported engagements in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mexico City, Mexico; and Stuttgart, Germany. After 2 years of conduit and seasoned portfolio Due Diligence assignments, he moved to Tokyo to help open the Japan office of Univest International, a joint venture between Univest and Fortress Investments. While in Japan, he began developing and marketing a bilingual web system intended to assist in the delivery of data to the rating agencies. There, he also developed a bilingual database to be used for due diligence engagements. Upon returning to the US, Brett began working with a team to develop a web-based system, called O2S, to support Univest's Conduit clients which would encompass the entire lending process from origination through securitization and on to asset management. After the acquisition of Univest by GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Brett went to work for Commercial Capital Initiatives (CII), a GMACCM Company. There he continued to grow the application for their internal use, building feeds from their servicing and accounting systems. In 2004, he left CII to start Conjunction Consulting, LLC.

J. Kent Waltman

Beginning his career at Univest Financial Services in 1991, Kent has since acquired 20 years experience in the financial services industry. While at Univest, Kent worked with the executive team to sell and manage a wide variety of engagements, including international engagements in South America and Europe. Kent has held positions at both Greystone Servicing Corporation, and Fannie Mae where he worked as a Director in the Structured Transactions Group negotiating and administering credit facilities for institutional real estate investors throughout the United States. Most recently, Kent served as a Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, working directly with loan officers in 26 U.S. full-service production offices in order to manage Fannie Mae (multifamily) loan production. Kent holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
